Patriot Launched Supersonic Magnum 2 and Rage 2 USB 3.0 Flash Drives

Patriot’s Supersonic series of flash drives were already some of the fastest on the block, but the whole thing gets a new boost in form of the Supersonic Magnum 2 and Rage 2 USB 3.0 flash drives.

“Patriot has revamped its Supersonic USB line with two great new additions, both with exceedingly fast speeds,” said Meng Jay Choo, Product Manager at Patriot. “There are no comparable USB drives on the market, at the moment, and we hope to continue to deliver impressive performance speeds to our customers as technology advances.”

The Patriot Supersonic Magnum 2 will be available in 256GB and 512GB capacities and feature impressive read and write speeds of 400MB/s and 300MB/s making them the fastest high capacity/high performance USB flash drive on the market. It is shock resistance up to 15Gs and complimented by a matte black metal housing with laser etched logos.

The Supersonic Rage 2 is an ultra-portable and high capacity USB 3.0 drive. The rugged, rubberized casing is designed to withstand the wear and tear of everyday use while the slide-to-connect feature protects the connector. This drive has the same speeds as the Magnum 2 with up to 400MB/s and 300MB/s. It will be available in capacities of 128GB and 256GB.

Both new drives will become available during February 2015, but no word on pricing yet.
