Patriot Limited Edition ‘Intel Extreme Masters’ DDR3 2133MHz 8GB Memory Kit Review

Test system:

  • Asus Maximus V Formula
  • Intel Core i7 3770k
  • AMD Radeon HD 7970
  • Antec Kuhler 920
  • Corsahir HX1050W
  • Kingston HyperX 240GB SSD
  • Lian Li T60
  • Dell Ultrasharp U3011

To ensure the memory runs as intended, we first of all head towards BIOS to enable the XMP profile, here with what looks like a speed of 2132, although we can see above that this must be a typing error as it is 2133MHz thankfully. The default timings for the memory is 11-11-11-27 at 1.5v.
