With the ever-growing need for more storage due to better hardware that is able to take better photos and videos in high-resolutions, bigger memory cards are starting to become a must. We’ve seen many companies recently upgrade their lineups with more capacity and now it’s become Patriot’s time.
Patriot Memory is upgrading their LX Series of SDXC and microSDXC cards with new versions that double the previous maximum capacity. The LX Series UHS-I Class 10 SDXC Flash card is now available up to 256GB while the LX Series UHS-I Class 10 microSDXC flash card is available up to 128GB.
Both new cards are compatible with the latest SD Association 3.0 specifications and can deliver write speeds up to 20MB/s. The SDXC card can read with up to 80MB/s while the microSDXC card has a reading speed of up to 70MB/s. Both cards are backed by a 5-year warranty and customer service.
The cards should be available shortly at popular retailers around the world. The MSRP is set to $129.99 for both the 256GB SDXC and 128GB microSDXC cards.
