Patriot is adding a new gaming mouse to the Viper Gaming peripheral line called the V570 RGB Blackout Edition. It uses an Avago ADNS-9800 laser sensor natively capable of up to 8000 DPI or up to 12,000 DPI in interpolated mode. There are four adjustable DPI levels with an LED indicator right beside the scroll-wheel. It runs at a polling rate of 1000Hz with an IPS of 150. The V570 has twelve buttons in total, 13 if you count the scroll-wheel. It also uses long-life Omron microswitches for the main left and right clickers. How long? They come rated for 10 million clicks.
The high button count makes the Viper V570 very versatile when it comes to gaming. Users can program it for FPS, MMO, MOBA and RTS games. Aside for having lots of buttons to customize, the Viper V570 also has adjustable weights adding up to 34.2 grams. This is accessible via the top cover. Underneath, ceramic skates provide superior gliding movement over standard teflon skates. Aside from functionality, the Viper V570 also has multi-zone RGB LED features which are customizable.
The Patriot Viper V570 RGB Blackout Edition Mouse is available now for $69.99 USD starting at the Patriot e-Store. However, it should be available in various e-tailers and select retailers soon as well.
