PC Building Simulator Gets Official EVGA Support

Remember the PC Building Simulator from The Irregular Corporation introduced 10 months ago? Well they finally have official support from manufacturer EVGA. EVGA joins Cooler Master, Raijintek and NZXT as partners in the project. This means official EVGA products will show up in the game. This includes not just their latest GeForce 10 family of video cards, but their cases and power supplies as well. Users will also be able to accurately build inside DG-8 and DG-7 series cases with the SuperNOVA line power supply series.

The objective of the game is simple. Build a PC with the allotted budget then assemble them together to get a fully working case. The components available are 3D scanned from actual existing components so their clearance compatibilities are quite accurate when put together. It even includes cabling and connecting with proper component headers. The game is also quite a useful tool to use for teaching new builders the ins-and-outs of system assembly without any fear of damaging hardware or the high cost of getting incompatible components. Since it allows users to actually see the components assembled, it is also much more satisfying than just browsing and assembling PCPartPicker.

Pricing Information and Availability

The game is now heading to Steam Early Access on March 27. Users will be able to then purchase it for £14.99 or €19.99 EUR. Those in North America will be able to purchase it for $19.99 USD.
