The Run clocks in at the 18th game in the Need for Speed franchise, just like it’s 10yr younger counter part it was also made my EA’s Black Box studio, little has really changed in the series, excluding the Shift series of course.
We actually reviewed NFS: The Run a little while ago, which you can read here.
In The Run you take part in a 3000 mile illegal race across America, with the games usual line up of real world cars, great music and fast moving graphics still being the main attraction, but it’s the graphics that are the big difference in The Run, utilizing the same graphics engine as Battlefield 3, the Frostbite 2 engine, meaning levels of destruction and detail are superb through out, making this the best Need for Speed title to date.
