Ridge Racer Unbounded – Racer / Multi format
If this really is getting released on PC, I will be stunned. Ridge Racer was once the go to game to make your jaw drop back in its prime on the PlayStation 1 and was a fine all round arcade racer. This one seems to be picking up where EA’s Burnout 3 left off, but taking that games core ideas to many extremes. RRU give you the ability to create your own worlds and tracks, race them to destruction with your friends and share your creations online. This should be a solid racing game, so long as they get the mechanics of it right it could deal a hammer blow to the latest Need For Speed, Burnout & upcoming carnage-a-thon Dirt series of games.
Microsoft Flight – Simulation / PC Exclusive
This has my interest more because it’s also free-to-play, I love seeing how the quality and content this business model provides these days has progressed, it has proven a good way to make money for developers, allowed them to take more risks and make larger investments in more ambitious free-to-play games.
Tinkering around in a flight sim can always be fun, be you an amateur or a pro, might as well do it in one of the best flight sims out there, I am amateur as anything when it comes to these things, but can’t wait to perform my patent loop the loop fireball in a 747.
