Acoustic, Power & Thermal Performance
Acoustic Performance
During idle conditions, the system is louder than I hoped for but it’s still extremely quiet and makes for an enjoyable desktop experience. Once stressed, the noise output only increased by a small amount and showcases the benefits of going down the custom loop route.
Power Consumption
Even though the system features a large overclock and great performance numbers, it doesn’t consume much power under full load.
Thermal Performance
As expected, the water cooling hardware results in magnificent CPU temperatures which hit a maximum value of 54C. This is astonishing when you take into account the 4.5GHz overclock. Additionally, the GPU didn’t get too warm and managed an average of 72 degrees. This is well within the chip’s thermal limitations and there’s enough headroom to manually overclock the core even further.
