CPU & Memory Performance
Cinebench R15
The system’s Intel i5 6400 offers good multi-threaded performance and isn’t too far behind the higher clocked i5 6500.
WPrime
In WPrime, the i5 6400 does take a considerable amount of time to complete the calculation. Saying that, it’s pitted against much more expensive options which benefit from a higher frequency and hyperthreading. When you take this into consideration, it’s clear that the CPU performs pretty well.
AIDA64 Engineer
The system’s 2133MHz dual-channel memory configuration outputs commendable read, write and copy figures within the area I’d expect. It’s no surprise that the lower frequency results in poorer bandwidth figures than premium systems employing the Z170 chipset. On the other hand, you’re unlikely to notice a difference in gaming and the 2133MHz speed is perfect for this particular build.
