Tomb Raider is a video game franchise which also includes comic books, novels, theme park rides and movies, centering around the adventures of the English archaeologist Lara Croft. Square Enix have rebooted the franchise with a DirectX 11 utilised game with Anti-Aliaising features and lighting effects.
We know that Tomb Raider has TresFX at its disposal and thus will favour AMD cards a lot more and to keep the playing field far more even we leave this disabled. With this option disabled we do get yet again a strong set of frame rates – enabling TresFX will obviously drop the performance, but it’s nice to know that there is plenty of space available to accommodate the extra detail.
