Super PI
Super PI is a computer program that calculates pi to a specified number of digits after the decimal point—up to a maximum of 32 million. It uses Gauss–Legendre algorithm and is a Windows port of the program used by Yasumasa Kanada in 1995 to compute pi to 232 digits.
Systems Comparison
Like Cinebench, the single tread design of the 4670k does result in a lower level of performance over say a 4770k which offers two thread per core. With the processor being overclocked the gap in performance is reduced right down an a 32M calculation is only a matter of seconds behind a 4770k.
