PELADN, formerly PRADEON, are a lesser-known company that previously released GPUs that looked like bathroom tiles marking my first interaction with the brand. Today, however, the company has revealed a new 8GB Radeon RX 6500 XT with a more regular design choice.
This card as shared by ITHome, (Via VideoCardz) uses the 8GB variant of the last generation RX 6500 XT sporting a dual fan cooler with a more regular design as opposed to the bathroom tiles of their previous release. The card is mostly black with a marble iridescent effect around the second fan and the side of the card plus features a full backplate despite the card’s more budget target audience. The cooler itself uses two direct-touch heat pipes and also claims that the triangular design of the card helps with heat dissipation.
The obvious note here is the 8GB of VRAM whilst most 6500 XT’s use 4GB which pairs better with the pitiful 64-bit memory bus and PCIe 4.0 x4 interface. Apart from the 8GB this card also features some factory overclocking of up to 2855 MHz for boost and 2695 for game mode.
Currently, there is no word on availability but it is expected to launch soon in China.
