Case manufacturer Phanteks is slowly but surely building up their Glacier liquid cooling portfolio. Their latest release are new fittings that continue the same high-quality build they are known for. These include glacier T-splitters, male-to-male extenders and 16mm adapters for hard tube users.
The expansion to custom liquid cooling solutions seems only natural to Phanteks. Their cases after all are very liquid-cooling friendly. Plus, their fanbase has attracted many advanced builders and modders, who use custom liquid cooling.
The company offers both 12mm and 16mm fittings for their Glacier series. Each are available in satin black or mirror chrome finish. The new 16mm fittings are also available in a variety of angles including 45 and 90 degrees. Unlike some fittings which use polyurethane or silicone seal, Phanteks uses something called VITON. VITON is a flourocarbon, common in aerospace applications. Fluorocarbon is an all around material that can handle a number of applications, especially diverse sealing jobs that involve movement.
All are available now, with the 16mm hard tubing adapters available for $19.99 USD. The 16mm 45-degree tube adapter is slightly cheaper at $17.99.
