Phanteks Announces Enthoo Mini XL Chassis

Phanteks announced the release of the Enthoo Mini XL chassis that introduces the new super micro ATX form factor. It isn’t the catchiest form factor name, but the case packs enough to make up for that. The new Enthoo Mini XL has plenty of water-cooling capabilities everywhere: front, top, rear and back-side. The case is built with so many modular options, making almost every build possible and only limited by the motherboard form factors.
The Mini XL can hold two motherboards with an optional bracket, allowing you to have a micro ATX and mini ITX motherboard in the same enclosure. The PSU is located at the top rear in a vertical mounting position and covered to the front. This creates a heat isolated and aesthetic look that won’t interfere with the rest of your setup. For the second motherboard, an SFX PSU can be mounted at the bottom of the case.
If there is a flat surface, then you can mount a drive there. The Enthoo Mini XL has two 3.5-inch drive cages and plenty of additional SSD and HDD location options. You can mount SSDs on the back of the motherboard as well as the side of the drive cages with Drop-NLock brackets while an additional HDD can be mounted on the back-side of the 5.25-inch bays.
The Mini XL has so many features, it’s hard to list them all. Some more highlights includes a 7-port PWM fan controller, dual rear fan exhaust, LED control, quick-eject dust filters, and plenty of optional accessories like ambient lighting kits, extra slot brackets and the previous mentioned second motherboard mount.
Availability should soon and the Phanteks Enthoo Mini XL case will set you back $179.99 while the second motherboard mount will cost an additional $29.99.
