We have seen a lot of Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards launch lately and while they do come with great coolers, it could be better and it could be for liquid cooling. Phanteks announced the launch of two new such full cover water blocks for ASUS’ GTX 1080 Ti Strix and for Gigabyte’s GTX 1080 Ti Gaming OC.
The new full cover water blocks are made of premium materials and they look great. With a liquid cooling setup, you’ll be able to push your overclocks even further and have a graphics that stays stable under extreme loads. No product are complete without RGB these days, and Phanteks new Glacier G1080Ti water blocks are no different. The water blocks come with RGB lighting and connector to make it connect to your motherboard’s RGB control feature.
Design wise, the two new coolers are very similar. They both come in two versions, Mirrored Chrome and Satin Black. The Glacier G1080Ti for ASUS’ Strix card also comes with a Strix engraving and it is compatible with the original backplate of the card. The Gigabyte version is a bit plainer and only features the Phanteks logo.
Both versions of the new full cover liquid cooling water block will be available in May 2017 for a suggested retail price of €159.95 or £135.90. Phanteks backs the two with a 2-year limited warranty.
