Phanteks Eclipse 600S – Their Best All-Round Chassis Ever?

Phanteks Eclipse 600S

I’ve always been a fan of Phanteks chassis. Of course, they make that easy, as they often produce some of the best chassis on the market for enthusiast PC builders. Their new 600S really stands out though. It follows many of the clever features that made the Evolv series stand out too but goes much further. Just like previous models, it can support both an ATX system, and an additional ITX system with the (sold separately) bracket.

The comes in multiple options too, and it’s extremely module out of the box. It’s available in black, white and the super sexy gunmetal finish, with tempered glass on the left side. However, it’s the front and top panels that I love the most. It can be closed up for silence, there’s a slick fabric finished panel that’s a dust filter, but also looks gorgeous when exposed too.

The whole thing is noise dampened throughout too. The end result is high airflow, low noise, and perfect for both air and liquid cooling designs.

It features an incredibly modular interior, which sports extensive cable routing options, modular rear cable routing and mounting panels, vertical cable routing, a PSU shroud, and vertical GPU mounting. Overall, there’s no a lot it doesn’t support in here. It ticks all the boxes for a high-end gaming PC build.

The black one looks great, but the white one has a nice premium look to it also, it’s not too glossy and not too matte.

My favourite is still by far the gunmetal though, always a fan favourite from the Phanteks range.

In the rear, you’ll find huge amounts of cable ties built-in, with extra-deep and wide cable runs. There are three SSD mounts here too, with a pair of 3.5″ trays in the base of the PSU shroud. Notice even more noise dampening material on the right side panel too.

Phanteks installed a custom loop in this demo build.

While showcasing air cooling builds in another.

Their most complex demo build had additional storage bays added to the front for a workstation. However, it has an air cooled gaming PC in the base, with a liquid cool mITX system mounted in the top too!

It won’t hit the market till Q3, likely just after Computex 2019. We’ll update you as soon as we know more.
