Phanteks has today released a new smaller variant of its NV7 case in the form of the Mid-Tower NV5 offering a smaller but still spacious chassis with a seamless tempered glass front and side panel.
The NV5 is a stylish case available in white or black featuring a seamless front and side tempered glass panel similar to many modern cases opting for a side airflow design. The case itself is made from 1.5mm thick steel with a reinforced outer frame and extra corner brackets offering a sturdy case option capable of hosting the latest hardware. The front I/O is well equipped with 1x USB 3.2 Type-C Gen 2, 2x USB 3.0, power button, microphone/ headphone jack and 2x D-RGB buttons (Mode, Colour).
The case offers versatile cooling options on its top, bottom, side and rear panels offering you plenty of options despite the tempered glass front panel. In total the NV5 is capable of supporting total of eight 120mm fans in the case with three on top, three on the side and one on the top and bottom. For water cooling both the top and side are capable of supporting 360mm radiators.
The NV5 is capable of supporting up to a 280mm wide E-ATX motherboard with CPU tower coolers up to 180mm. For graphics cards, there is room for GPUs up to 440mm in length plus the case comes with an anti-sag bracket and the separate option of a vertical bracket. The case includes a hinged storage bracket which can contain 3x 3.5″ HDDs or 4x 2.5″ SSDs plus it is a convenient place to store ARGB or fan controllers. The PSU shroud features DRGB lighting and cover can be removed, a PSU up to 230mm can be installed under here.
Also available is a premium Gen 4 Vertical GPU bracket which allows for a vertical setup or between 15 and 30 degree angles. This bracket offers two positions for support and can be fixed to the motherboard, plus it has built-in D-RGB lighting.
This DRGB lighting kit includes three strips to outline the outer frame of the case and the motherboard cable cover to further enhance your case. This kit also comes with a D-RGB power hub for powering the RGB lighting.
