Phanteks has launched the first in their new NV series of cases with the NV7. This case puts components at centre stage. With a near-seamless glass panel and thoughtfully designed fan placements.
The NV7 Features a seamless glass front and side panel which at first appearance looks as though it will impact airflow though this is not the case. Phanteks have designed the NV7 to provide great airflow and plenty of support for various cooling options on all other sides of the case which are covered with an ultra-fine mesh to protect your components from dust.
The Phanteks NV7 is a large case and provides plenty of room for large components. When it comes to motherboards you can fit up to an E-ATX motherboard which is 277mm wide as well as a CPU cooler with a maximum height of 185mm. For those new and CHUNKY modern GPU’s you won’t have any issues fitting them in as the NV7 offers up to 450mm of GPU clearance.
For your storage needs the case has plenty of room and supports up to 2 3.5″ drives or 6 2.5″ drives in the rear of the case. Also tucked away behind the case are the cables of which there is plenty of room to cable manage with an included cable management system. The NV7 features velcro cable combs, an LED cable cover as well as a door to hide cables but also keep them accessible.
The NV7 comes in either black or matte white and utilises sturdy 1.5mm thick high-quality steel as well as a thick rear panel to prevent GPU sag. On the front I/O, which can be moved to the rear of the case, you get 1 USB 3 Type C Gen 2, 2 USB 3.0 Type-A, a microphone/headphone jack and 4 D-RGB buttons (Mode, Colour, Speed, Channel). The D-RGB buttons are paired with Phanteks New D-RGB controller which is plug-and-play and is compatible with third-party software.
Alongside the NV7 Phanteks is launching their new D30 120mm ARGB fans. Inspired by the aerodynamic fan blades of the T30 fan the D30 features 30mm thick fan blades and is complete with D-RGB lighting to provide high air pressure and great aesthetics. The D30 fans can be easily linked together with screw cover plates and bridge connectors to make cable management simple and easy.
The Phanteks NV7 is available now at Overclockers UK at a price of £199.99 in a choice of either black or white.
The D30 120mm fans are also available for pre-order from Overclockers in regular or reverse airflow models again in black or white from £25.99 for a single fan and £74.99 for a pack of 3.
