At stock the PH-TC12DX does really well and is almost the best air CPU cooler falling short of only the Scythe Ashura.
At stock it is pretty quiet too which was very impressive.
At overclocked loads it fell way back down the charts. In fact it didn’t do that great, although for a CPU cooler of its price the performance is still about average. With 100% fan speed it is able to claw back some ground but not nearly enough for the noise level.
Overclocking pushed the acoustic levels up a bit but overall it was still quiet under normal loads.
