Phanteks Reveal Innovative PSUs at CES 2018

Phanteks
Power supplies are regularly a topic to make you fall asleep. Sure they’re important, but innovations of any significance to the end consumer are few and far between. However, Phanteks just unleashed two new products that made us top and say “WOW”.
Revolt X
First up is the Revolt X, a single PSU with dual system outputs. Phanteks have made a peripheral board that split a single PSU before, but with the help of Seasonic, they’ve integrated it into a single unit. If you’re running a two motherboard system, just like many Phanteks chassis support, this is perfect.
Basically, it uses dual 24-pin and dual CPU headers to get the job done. It’s a simple trick, but a great one regardless.
Two systems mean a lot of power, but at 1200 watts and platinum rated, you’re not going to be left short anytime soon.
Revolt Pro
One power supply for two systems not enough for you? What if you want to run four systems, ten, maybe forty or more simultaneously. Extreme gaming systems, rendering rigs, workstations, or possibly more exciting idea, mining rigs. The Revolt Pro comes with an expansion system, where you can bridge multiple PSUs together. The neat thing is, only the first PSU needs to be a Revolt Pro, you can use any other unit from then on. The units pair together, improving ripple and stability for single systems while increasing max draw by up to 600W per unit added. Just think, 20 PSUs, delivering 12KW of power for your monster rig… insane.
