Phasmophobia Console Release Delayed Due To Office Fire

Phasmophobia is the popular ghost-hunting game from Kinetic which is available to play on Steam with both desktop and VR support. The team behind the game have been working on a console port but unfortunately, it has met an unfortunate delay.
Phasmophobia Console Release Delayed
As announced on Twitter by the Kinetic dev team, the console release of the game, which was due this month, has been delayed until October for a Halloween launch. This delay has come forward due to a fire that occurred in their offices which has had a major effect on the development of the game and the console port. This is unfortunate for those eagerly awaiting the console release as well as for the damage done to the office and team.
The Statement
“Dear Phasmophobia Community,
First and foremost, we’d like to thank you all for your support and that you are just as excited as we are for the console release.
Due to a recent fire incident in our office building and unpredicted development issues, our ability to test and develop has been significantly impacted.
After careful consideration we have made the tough decision to delay the console release, initially set for August, while we get everything sorted. We are now aiming for a special launch during the week leading up to Halloween this October. This gives us the needed time to perfect and fine-tune everything. Your patience and understanding mean everything to us, and we can’t wait to bring Phasmophobia to consoles.”
