Philips is one of the biggest names in the world for displays, and while we love their high-end OLED and gaming hardware, sometimes, you simply just need a screen for work. But what if you just can’t cope with the Full HD 24″ monitors you get dumped on your desk? Well, that’s where this absolute behemoth of a monitor comes in. Measuring in at 40″ diagonally, with an ultrawide 21:9 aspect ratio, you can ditch the attempts at multi-monitor setups and just put everything you need on one very big screen.
Admittedly, this monitor doesn’t come cheap, but given its size, that’s hardly surprising. However, it does justify much of the cost with a plethora of features. For starters, it has an impressive resolution of 5120 x 2160 (5K2K) while most 21:9 monitors make do with 3440×1440. There’s a pair of HDMI ports, DisplayPort, and Thunderbolt 4 with 90W power delivery, as well as an integrated USB 3.2 hub, Ethernet LAN 1Gbps, and a built-in webcam and microphone too, making it extremely versatile for the workspace.
