Philips have just announced the release of a new 32″ monitor, the BDM3270QP. The new features a 2560×1440 resolution AMVA panel that should produce an extra high contrast for living pictures and quality as well as give you a flicker free experience.
The BDM3270QP features a 12ms normal response time and a 4ms grey to grey time, 3000:1 static and 50million to one dynamic contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 1.07 billion colour depth and an sRGB gamut. That coupled with four times as many pixels as a standard full HD monitor and you know you got something you can work great on.
“This 32-inch display is great for users who are up-sizing from smaller screens and lower resolutions. Users can look forward to a real sense of space, combined with the sharp, brilliant resolution of QHD. And it’s not just graphic designers, CAD designers and architects who appreciate the difference: people who routinely work with standard office applications are increasingly looking for more room to spread out when they have multiple windows open at the same time, but with the finer resolution to make that extra space work effectively,” said Thomas Schade, Vice President EMEA at MMD.
The new monitor features DisplayPort, HDMI (MHL), VGA and DL-DVI connections and it also comes with support for MultiView with Picture in Picture and Picture by Picture. The built-in speakers allow you to use it for more than just a visual experience as it also comes with built-in USB 2.0 and 3.0 hub. Tilt, height, pivot and swivel adjustments are offered from the included stand.
The new Philips 32-inch BDM3270QP QHD display is available now for an MSRP of £499.00.
