Philips Evnia 25M2N3200W Gaming Monitor Review

Philips has been creating some of the best gaming monitors that I’ve personally tested in the last few years, just check out my review of the insane 49″ 5K2K 240Hz OLED, it’s a titan of a monitor. However, today, we’re looking at something much further down the line, with the Philips Evnia 25M2N3200W, which may not have the most memorable product name, but at 25″ it comes with a wickedly fast 240Hz refresh rate and a 0.5ms response time, which is sure to appeal to fans of fast-paced shooters, action games, driving game and anything else that can benefit from such a high refresh rate and the motion clarity that can provide.

Equipped with a Full HD VA panel, the big speeds are matched by a strong brightness, contrast ratio, and viewing angles, which should make it pretty easy to live with day-to-day. As part of the Evnia product line, it’s one of their more premium products, so it comes with a prettier overall design and more premium materials and build quality in its construction, so it should be a nice monitor to have on your desk in general.

Features

  • Ultra-fast 240 Hz refresh rate for virtually lag-free gaming
  • Low input lag reduces the time delay between devices to monitor
  • 0.5 ms ultra-fast speed for crisp images and smooth gameplay
  • VA display delivers awesome images with wide viewing angles
  • 16:9 Full HD display for crisp, detailed images

What Philips Had to Say

“While playing the most intense, engaging, action-oriented games, ultra-fast 240 Hz refresh rate enhances an ultra-smooth, lag-free gaming experience. This Philips display redraws the screen image up to 240 times per second, effectively faster than a standard display. Especially for fast-paced games like FPS and racing games, 240 Hz gives a superior motion and clarity visuals. With Philips 240 Hz Momentum display, action sequences in gameplay look judder-free and ghost-free. You will experience deeper immersion and feel more alive in game.” – Philips
