Philips has today launched their new 44.5″ superwide monitor featuring a noise-cancelling microphone and 5 MP webcam and several other features designed to aid professionals’ multitasking.
This superwide monitor from Philips combines two desktops and a webcam into one setup with its 44.5″ 32:9 5120×1440 display. With such a wide display it is capable of effectively displaying two 16:9 displays on one monitor. The monitor features a 1500R curved VA panel with 178/178 degrees viewing angles giving crisp high-contrast imagery with its HDR 400 certification as well as providing an overall immersive experience.
Included with this monitor to enhance productivity is its 5 MP webcam and noise cancelling microphone. These provide an all in one high quality solution for video calls for work and from home. The Webcam is fully compatible with Windows Hello with its advanced sensors for facial recognition allowing users to log into their accounts within seconds.
Also improving productivity with this monitor is the included USB-C docking with RJ45. This dock allows for users to connect to the network and set up power delivery to their connected devices. The USB hub features USB 3.2 Gen 2 / 10 Gbps, USB-A downstream x 4 (with 1 for fast charge B.C 1.2), USB-C downstream x 1 (Data, PD 15 W). The display features video input options of 2x HDMI 2.0, 1x DisplayPort 1.4 as well as the 2 USB-C ports.
Included with the display is also a KVM switch allowing for users to utilise two PC’s with one monitor as well as a headphone hook to keep your headphones in a convenient place.
When it comes to ergonomics the Philips Superwide features a fully adjustable stand with 150mm of height adjustment, swivel adjustment of -/+ 45 degree and tilt adjustment of -5/15 degree. To prevent eye strain the display also features a TUV Rheinland Eyesafe RPF 50 certification to ensure protection against blue light induced eye strain with its blue light filter.
