Philips has today expanded its professional monitor portfolio with a new 49″ Superwide display aimed at improving workflow and productivity with maximum screen real estate.
The Philips 49B2U6900CH is a 49″ 5120×1440 Double QHD display which offers extra wide viewing angles that can be described as two monitors in one. It has been designed for the workplace with features that hybrid workers can appreciate including a built in adjustable webcam with noise-cancelling microphone and auto framing. The webcam also features the Busy light feature which aids those working in the office and lets co-workers know whether you are on a call.
For those utilising two PC’s, the Smart KVM functions will aid that experience without any need to mess around in OSD menus. Users can simply switch between sources by pressing the ‘Ctrl’ key three times. Some additional features include the USB-C connectivity with up to 100W of power delivery, plus a headphone hook offers extra convenience for keeping the desk tidy.
The display itself is curved which makes its Super Wide resolution more comfortable, plus it features low-blue mode and flicker free technology to reduce eye strain. The included stand is fully height adjustable to find the optimal position for comfortable long term use.
The Philips 49B2U6900CH monitor will be available for purchase from February with an MSRP of £959.99.
