Philips has announced their new E9 series lineup of stylish monitors for home and office use. It introduces three models initially, all using 1080p IPS panels for its rich color space (124% sRGB). Available in a glossy black finish with an elegant metal stand, all models have a slim 9.94 mm bezel. The displays also feature AMD FreeSync technology, which syncs the monitor refresh rate to the GPU frame render rate to achieve effortlessly smooth gameplay. Furthermore, these displays have flicker-free and LowBlue light modes for minimizing eye-strain.
The flagship in the series is the 276E9QJAB, sporting a 27-inch display screen size. Unlike the rest of the monitors in the series, it also features built-in 2x3W loudspeakers.
The Philips 276E9QDSB and the 276E9QSB on the other hand share similar features, with the main exception being their display output. Both have a VGA and a DVI-D connector, but the 276E9QSB does not have an HDMI port.
All three models have an MSRP of £169 and will be available in March 2018.
Afterwards, Philips intends to release a 23.8″ FHD version in May, as well as a smaller 21.5″ FHD model in July. The Philips E9 curved display modles will also follow soon starting May. These models include a 31.5″ FHD/QHD as well as 27″ FHD option.
