After the court ordered THQ to sell off their assets as part of its bankruptcy proceedings, the company sold the following studios and games to the following companies for the following amount:
THQ will be having a second auction as they have more game franchises to sell. This time PixelSense is looking forward to buy Homeworld which was the past year’s Game of the Year winner. The game is Relic’s property, which is now owned by Sega, but the game was not the part of its auction.
Pixelsense however requires to raise $50,000 to buy Homeworld at the second THQ auction. To do so, Pixel launched a Indiegogo campaign. At the time of writing, the campaign raised $11,057 and 8 days left to complete its goal to raise $50,000.
If someone outbid’s Pixelsense, they will use the money to try to reach a deal to buy from the new owner. If that doesn’t work, the independent game developer will refund the raised amount.
