PlanetSide 2 Creative Director Calls PS4 Audience “Console Peasants”

There has been much talk about PlanetSide 2 coming to the PS4, so it was no surprise that there was a PlanetSide 2 Keynote which also had a nice section for the PS4 Version.
Whilst the Creative Director, Matthew Higby, was mentioning some of the fixes that are coming to the PC due to the work they have been doing on the PS4 he says:
“We’re all getting a ton of benefit. Even if you’re not a console peasant you’ll appreciate what you get out of the console game.”
This can be seen right at the end of this video, around the 3.25 mark.

This seems very unprofessional from someone who is trying to promote a product to a large audience, especially as they still didn’t give a release date which PS4 users have been waiting on for some time. I personally would try and keep the elitism down when trying to push games that are meant to be for multi platforms.
You can’t be too harsh on them though, after all PlanetSide 2 is a free game and it looks to be very good. The PS4 version is running quite well, it visually looks very good and gameplay wise is nearly finished too, it needs a bit of fine-tuning. Due to this, the general feeling is that the beta should be just around the corner, then again, this is said after every event PlanetSide 2 is mentioned.
