The sequel to Bethesda’s innovative stealth game is going to be offered as a free trial soon beginning April 6. The free trial will give users the chance to play the first three missions of the campaign. There is no indication how long the trial will run for or if it is indefinite, but it will provide users the chance to upgrade directly from it and continue their saved game. In 2016, Bethesda rolled out a similar free trial run for Doom which did not expire so it is most likely the same here with the Dishonored 2 trial.
Dishonored 2 for the most part has received largely positive reviews ever since it came out in November 11, 2016. It currently sits at 7/10 on Steam and 8/10 on GameSpot and has won The Game Award for Best Action/Adventure in 2016 beating Uncharted 4 and Hitman.
