EA has revealed details of its early access scheme for their upcoming MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic and it’s good news.
Previously, talk surrounding early access to the MMORPG had mentioned that those that pre-order would have the opportunity to start playing up to five days early, EA has now revealed that play will actually start on December 13, up to one week before the game’s official launch date.
Early access is dependent on both pre-ordering the game and redemption of the pre-order code on The Old Republic website. Access will then be granted depending on when the pre-order code was redeemed, with a staggered roll-out over seven days. Furthermore, those that have pre-ordered can pre-load the game, with more details available via the website.
So if you’re not already convinced that you should preorder The Old Republic, then maybe a week early access might persuade you.
