Something I’m sure many of us are guilty of is buying games on Steam during a big sale and then forgetting about them. I gave up counting after around 20 with huge titles like Kingdom Come Deliverance, Mafia 2, and recently Manor Lords.
Now some information has come out that across all registered Steam accounts in the world, players have spent around $1.9 billion / £1.4 billion worth of games that have never been played. Then times that by ten and to give a rough estimate for account for all the Steam profiles that are not public, and you arrive at $19 billion or £15 billion.
Now, if you want to add even more games to your library, this is the perfect time with the Steam Summer Sale just around the corner. The sale will be massive, running from June 27th to July 11th, and and maybe by the end of the year players will hit $20 billion in unplayed games.
