Xbox continues to bring some of its “exclusive” titles to rival platforms, including Sony’s PlayStation. Meanwhile, Sony is also cautiously adopting a multiplatform strategy but remains hesitant to release its own games on Microsoft’s consoles.
A few older PlayStation exclusives have already appeared on Xbox, such as MLB The Show and Predator: Hunting Grounds. Now, according to a new report from Windows Central’s Jez Corden, sources claim that “more unannounced, previously PlayStation-exclusive games” are set to arrive on Xbox Series X|S next year.
The statement, however, remains intentionally vague. It’s unclear whether this refers to first-party PlayStation games or titles produced by third-party studios. For instance, games like Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Rebirth, currently PlayStation console exclusives, or Stellar Blade, could make their way to Xbox eventually, as they’re not developed by Sony itself.
For now, we’ll have to wait for official confirmation to see which games might be coming—if the report proves accurate. While Jez Corden is a reputable journalist, it’s worth remembering that this remains a rumor until further details emerge.
