PlayStation Plus November Line-Up Revealed

Sony’s PlayStation Plus service was originally launched to provide users with a wonderful library of immersive games each month which offered compelling value. Once the PlayStation 4 launched, Sony followed Microsoft’s online strategy and began to make PlayStation Plus a requirement for online play. As a result, consumers expect the network infrastructure to be improved and the service to suffer from less downtime. This doesn’t seem to be happening though and Sony needs to work on this area.
On another note, a large number of PlayStation Plus members have been dissatisfied with the bundled games for a considerable amount of time. They’re not happy with the lack of core mainstream titles for the PlayStation 4. This month’s line-up has finally been revealed and includes:
- Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, PS4
- The Deadly Tower of Monsters, PS4
- Dirt 3, PS3
- Costume Quest 2, PS3
- Letter Quest Remastered, PS Vita (Cross buy with PS4)
- Pumped BMX+, PS Vita (Cross buy with PS4 and PS3)
This a good selection of games which spans across different genres although it’s hardly what I’d describe as a strong month. Everybody’s Gone to Rapture is probably the highlight and provides a really unique, and tense experience. Costume Quest 2 can be fun in short bursts and is a neat indie title. Dirt 3 is also a classic but it’s plagued by a horrible DLC model and you really need to use the Complete Edition.
What do you think of this month’s PlayStation Plus line-up?
