CrystalDiskMark is a small HDD benchmark utility for your hard drive that enables you to rapidly measure sequential and random read/write speeds.
Here are some key features of “CrystalDiskMark”:
Unconditioned
Conditioned
Drive Comparison
For the purpose of drive comparison I use the performance figures from both unconditioned and conditioned tests with 0% data fill.
In CrystalDiskMark the Plextor M6 Pro showed us some more stable figures then in the other benchmarks. The numbers returned stayed about the same no matter what load level or ageing the drive had. We also see some performance gains in the write results in this test on the aged drive compared to the fresh.
