On a similar note, the GPU cannot reach an average figure of 30 frames-per-second and is way off the R9 380. This emphasises the lack of competitiveness from the GTX 960 in DirectX 12 games. Thankfully, you can maintain a good frame-rate by altering the settings and finding a better balance between performance and visual fidelity.
As expected, the GPU fares rather poorly when the resolution is set to 1440P and it’s exceedingly difficult to acquire a good frame-rate. This isn’t a shocking revelation because the GTX 960 is primarily designed for 1080P gaming.
Once the resolution increases to 4K, Hitman becomes a slideshow and I highly doubt the frame-rate will substantially improve after user tweaks have been applied.
