Overclocking and Overclocked Performance
Overclocking the graphics card was an absolute breeze and I managed to increase the core by 193MHz. On another note, the memory reached an effective speed of 7812MHz with a manual 305MHz boost. As always, the overclocking headroom is determined by the power limit and not temperatures. In this case, the maximum value is set to 107% which helped to leverage a boost clock up to 1470MHz.

After applying the overclock, the synthetic performance is extremely close to an R9 380 at stock values.
Here we can see the GPU surpasses the R9 390 and illustrates the performance benefits from manual overclocking.
Even though the graphics card posts weaker scores than the R9 380 this time, it’s still a great result.
