Picture the scene, you’re a 26 year old man, you have a warrant out for your arrest and the police know what you look like. You forget the fact that this warrant is for breaking and entering, and decide to simply go on your usual Pokemon Go adventures… Of course, I’m sure many of you have heard that Pokestops are in all kinds of whacky places, such as police stations. Can you see where this is going?
The Detroit man visited the Milford, Detroit Police Station in his pajama pants in hopes of grabbing some legal freebies on behalf of his Pokemon game, but after riding up on his bike he was recognized by police at the station and was promptly arrested for his outstanding warrant.
Personally, I think this is beautiful, it’s a welcome change from the stupidity that has led to people getting injured and putting other people lives at risk. If anything, this man just made the streets a little bit safer, and great work by the police for spotting him and seizing the opportunity here.
So there you go, if you have a warrant out for your arrest, you skip your court date, and you break into places, be sure to hit up your local police station Pokestop for a unique training experience.
