As we head closer to Pokémon Day The Pokémon Company has announced that on February 27, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. ET / 6:00 a.m. PT that there will be an online showcase. This will give us around 20 minutes of news in celebration of “Pokémon Day” 2023. This will mark the game’s 27th year since the original games release on the original Gameboy in Japan making February 27th a big day for Pokémon news.
We can be sure to expect something good from the showcase but maybe not as good as last year with the announcement of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC. This may be a good thing considering all the issues it had at launch but we can expect something that is sure to be good if you’re a pokemon fan.
There have been some rather reasonable guesses at what might come up during the showcase like the possible Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game that may be in development, random updates for mobile, or maybe an update on the Plemon Sleep app that was announced but forgotten. But really the possibilities are endless for what might come up during the showcase so be sure to check it out.
