At some point in our childhood, some of us have gone door to door or thought about it, looking for some work to get some cash for the newest video game. Now I don’t think any of us have had the police called on us for that and I also don’t think any of us have had the police give us a PS5 either like this lucky kid from Hapevillle Washington.
As reported by KATU 2 ABC, a young boy was going door to door in the City of Hapeville asking to do basic jobs such as pulling weeds, cutting the grass or trimming hedges to save up some cash for a PS5. Unfortunately for the kid, some sad lowlife git decided to call the police on him, simply for trying to find some work. Fortunately, though, Officer Colleran showed up to the scene and found out about the kid’s goals, and as a gamer himself, was impressed by the kid’s goals and said he was “polite, respectful and truthful.” The City of Hapeville Police made a post on Facebook sharing the ordeal and the moment Colleran presented the kid with a PS5 and a gift card for online membership.
Without a doubt, the kid will remember this moment for the rest of his life and I hope that he enjoys his new console. For the sad prat that called the police, I hope you stub your toe.
