Portal free on Steam until September 20th

Teachers have actually been using the original Portal in their classrooms to teach, and they are encouraging more educators to do the same, which got Valve interested and, as a result, decided to offer it for free on Steam until the 20 of September.
“One of the biggest challenges in teaching science, technology, engineering, and math is capturing the students’ imaginations long enough for them to see all of the possibilities that lie ahead,” the company said on the program’s website.
Keep in mind, I noticed when actually looking for it in the store, the price still shows up but you can install it for free through Steam’s program (downloadable here).
This kind of teaching isn’t new, and talking from experience, it’s a lot easier to learn when having fun, rather than listening to a boring lecture in class. The actual ‘fun method’ of teaching, I believe, invites the students to take part willingly in the learning process.
Examples of such methods have been seen in the past, such as teaching problem solving and teamwork using Minecraft or discussing the philosophical questions from Portal.
