Possible Benchmarks For AMD RX 7700 and RX 7800 Leaked

For those disappointed with NVIDIA’s offerings and are just waiting to see if AMD can offer anything better, well today might give you some insight into that after alleged benchmarks for the RX 7800 and RX 7700 were leaked.
RX 7700 and RX 7800 Benchmarks
The benchmarks were leaked by renowned hardware leaker All_The_Watts!! (via TomsHardware) which show off possible 3DMark Time Spy scores for both the RX 7700 and RX 7800 giving us some insight into what to expect from AMD in the coming months. Starting with the RX 7700 which achieved a score of 15465 which is higher than TomsHardware’s average scores of the previous generation 6700 XT around 11970 as well as the 6800 average at 14503. The 7800 on the other hand, achieved a score of 18197 which places it above the average score for the 6800 XT of 17098. Now these scores of course must be taken with a grain of salt as we don’t know what the rest of the system is plus pre-production cards are unlikely to feature well-optimized drivers but these figures do tell us that the cards are looking to perform around the level we are expecting.
Launch Date?
The next question is when are these cards going to be announced and which one will we see first? Supposedly the latest rumours are pointing towards a late August release date giving us just a month to see how these scores hold up. If August is the launch date then it won’t be long till we find out if AMD can land in favour of the enthusiasts after NVIDIA’s abysmal RTX 40 series lineup.
