You Can Now Download The Fan Legacy: Metal Gear Solid
Today is a great day for Metal Gear fans, as you can now download the fan-made project “The Fan Legacy: Metal Gear Solid“. The project was created by iRam Gamer in Unreal Engine 4, and while the whole project had to be broken up due to technical limitations, you can already enjoy part 1, while the others will roll out over the next few weeks. Keep in mind that this build is for 64-bit systems only, but a 32-bit version will launch at some point today.
While not exactly a game, this FPS exploration experience is still cool, allowing to revisit and explore some of the series’ most iconic areas, as well as a lot of incredible fan art from fans; think of it like a half museum, half art gallery experience.
Elevating it a little above most fan projects, the project is to feature David Hayter doing some voice-over work, as well as VR support!
Download part one right here.
This would be great if you didnt have to make a mega acount, dl their downloader etc etc
You don’t. You can just download through your browser, there’s a button for it.
Yeah i now. Even that needs you to install a browser plugin, and the dl stops after a few mb, needing an account to bypass the daily quota…
You can download about 2GB before it pauses for 5 hours and then lets you continue it. I got around it just by doing it over a day and leaving a browser open.
