CD Projekt RED recently announced that its latest and most successful game to date, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, will soon receive a special Game of the Year Edition. However, not much has been known about the actual release date of this edition, as the developers have not issued an official release date just yet. Still, it looks like a few retailers have decided to post a potential release date on their own websites, and even though this date could certainly prove to be true, we should take this information with a grain of salt. The retailers in question suggest that Witcher 3 Game of the Year Edition will be released on August 30, but we’ll just have to wait and see if this date is actually correct.
As for the game itself, we do know that this special edition will include the base content as well as both major expansions, namely Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. Since it was released for the first time, the title has received quite a few improvements, including a redesigned user interface, various bug fixes, and plenty of new quests that were released as DLC. As soon as CD Projekt RED will reveal the official release date for this awesome edition of Witcher 3, we’ll definitely let you know.
