With the 6800 series launch on the verge of happening, we at eTeknix can’t get the news out to you quick enough.
We have been inundated with emails and messages about AMD, Nvidia and their partners, as everyone seems to be up to something. This time round it’s PowerColor showing off a few pictures of what we can assume is the 6850 with its new revamped PCS cooler.
Even though the picture has has the model number wiped out, we are still pretty sure we know what we’re dealing with due to the single power connector.
From the picture, we can see a nicely sized heatsink and 92mm fan to keep it cool in stylish fashion. As we all know, PowerColor’s coolers have always given us quiet yet powerful performance, especially when looking at the older 5850 PCS+ and if that is anything to go by, this should be a big hit.
