PowerColor, GPU Manufacturer for AMD Radeon cards, has released 2 new swappable backplate designs for their AMD Radeon 7900 XT/XTX Red Devil Graphics cards.
PowerColor has brought in two new backplates for the Red Devil 7900 XT and XTX cards which are easily swappable through magnets. These backplates offer a unique and custom look to Red Devil cards. The two different designs provided by PowerColor are the Intrusive design and the Generative design both of which are vastly different from one another.
The first of the two is the Intrusive design which is a sleek black plastic backplate which features a smooth design with a grill over the far side of the card almost resembling the bonnet vents on a Mercedes. The backplate comes in at 322.4 x 119.2 x 16.63mm (L x W x H) and weighs 300g.
The second backplate introduced is the generative backplate which features a very contrasting design featuring several cutout holes making the card look almost alien-like. This backplate comes in at 322.4 x 119.2 x 13.46mm (L x W x H) and weighs 295g.
PowerColour has previously released 2 other backplates for these cards so we may see even more in the future if they prove to be popular.
These backplates will be available through major retailers and PowerColor’s official store (US Only) at the following MSRPs
Generative – $59.99
Intrusive – $29.99
