A Closer Look
The Powercolor R9 270X PCS+ graphics card is dominated by those dual blade Powercolor fans. You can also see the two 8mm and and single 6mm heat pipes underneath. That’s all enclosed in a red and black shroud.
The back has a space for that Turbo Timer module we discussed on the first page and a black metal backplate for added rigidity and cooling.
The card sticks to a dual slot design and uses two 6 pins for power. There is a CrossFire connector for 2-Way CrossFire and the card measures 24.5 cm in total, that’s 9.65 inches.
The end is open for ventilation and you can also see the cutout on the back of the card for the Turbo Timer
The bottom of the card is also open for additional ventilation.
The rear I/O has the default pin-out of dual DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort. With an MST Hub on the DisplayPort output you can support up to Eyefinity 6.
