Powercolor R9 280X TurboDuo 3GB Graphics Card Review

A Closer Look
Powercolor’s R9 280X TurboDuo in my opinion is just an amazingly good looking card. I think it’s the beautiful crafted metal shroud that really makes this card look special, that and the red, black and copper colours just make it really special for any system builder.
The rear of the card has a full cover metal backplate with R9 280X written on it. Though inside most cases this is going to appear upside down which is strange.
The card is a dual slot thickness and measures in at about 27cm long which is roughly 10.75 inches.
The bottom of the card is opened up and it exposes the three chunky 8mm heat pipes.
The end is also opened slightly with stylish air inlets carved into the metal shroud.
The Powercolor R9 280X TurboDuo takes a 6 pin and 8 pin for its power.
Two CrossFire connectors support up to 4 Way CFX if you’re nuts enough to need that much GPU grunt.
The rear I/O has dual mini DisplayPort outputs, a HDMI and a DVI. Of course you can use any combination of these for Eyefinity thanks to the revisions AMD made to Eyefinity with the RX 2XX series.
