The RX590 was never going to set the world on fire with performance. It’s older hardware pushed to its absolute limits here. However, as anyone could have guessed, it’s faster than the RX580 that it’s pretty much based on. In fact, it’s the fasted low-end card, before we get to the mid-range with the Vega 56.
TimeSpy didn’t fair so well though, but here it did beat the Vega 56 which is honestly quite surprising. This test doesn’t favour AMD particularly well though.
Even worse here, our second slowest card but still a bump up from the RX580. That being said, these are synthetic benchmarks, so let’s see how things stack up in the actual games.
