PowerColor is well-known for creating extreme versions of consumer graphics cards and with the recent release of the AMD Radeon RX 480, they’re at it again with their new PowerColor RX 480: Red Devil. We’re not sure on the specifications just yet, but with a custom PCB, 8-pin power connector, and a huge triple fan cooler, you can bet that it’s heavily overclocked, pulling more power and that the huge cooler will be getting put to good use to tame this beast. With rumours of the card being able to hit a massive 1.4GHz out of the box, or at least pretty damn close to it, this should be a real workhorse for what started life as a budget friendly card.
It looks like we’ve got a full backplate on the underside of the card too, we can only see parts of it, but going from previous Devil cards, we are expecting to be right on this one.
